Deep Work mode is the strictest focus option. It locks all websites except your allowlist and requires a safety phrase to exit early.

Activate Deep Work
Toggle on Deep Work mode before starting your focus session.

All Sites Blocked
Every website is blocked except those on your allowlist. No exceptions.

Safety Phrase Required
To end the session early, you must type a safety phrase. This friction prevents impulsive quitting.
Safety Phrase
The safety phrase is a sentence you must type to exit Deep Work mode early. It's intentionally long enough to make you think twice before quitting your session.
You can still end the session normally when the timer runs out. The safety phrase is only needed for early exits.
When to Use Deep Work
- When you need absolute zero distractions
- For high-stakes tasks like exams, essays, or deadlines
- When regular blocking isn't enough to keep you focused
