Nurrow is a cozy focus app built by one person. You start a focus session, distracting sites on your blocklist become unreachable, and finishing the session earns progress toward eggs. Eggs hatch into pixel-art pets with rarity tiers, levels, and a friendship system, so the reason to focus again tomorrow is the collection you are growing rather than guilt about yesterday. Nurrow is free to start, requires no account, shows no ads, and the mobile app collects no data. It is available on Android and iPhone, with a companion Chrome extension published and desktop apps in development.

The story
Nurrow is a solo project, built by a developer who wanted a focus app that gave his own brain a reason to come back tomorrow instead of a wall of guilt. The full founder story, useful as background for any coverage, is on the about page.
