Short FAQ

The questions people seem to actually have.

Is Ebb a medical app?
No. Ebb is a wellness reflection tool, not a medical device or service. It doesn't diagnose anything, doesn't give advice, and isn't a substitute for talking to a qualified professional. If something feels off, please talk to a doctor.
Can I use Ebb without an account?
Yes. The whole app works on first run without signing in. Your check-ins live on your device. The only reason to sign in is to back up and sync your data across devices.
Where is my data stored?
On your device by default, in your browser's IndexedDB. If you sign in, it also syncs to our backend provider, Supabase. It's encrypted in transit and at rest. We never sell it or share it with advertisers. The full story is in the privacy policy.
How do I delete my account?
Settings → Delete account inside the app, or email aw2104094@gmail.com with the subject "Delete my Ebb account." Full instructions on the delete account page.
Why no streaks?
Because streaks turn noticing into performing. The moment a streak exists, missing a day starts to feel like failure — and Ebb is for the days you almost don't want to log too. So: no streaks, no badges, no points. Just the wave and what it shows.
What devices does Ebb work on?
Ebb is a mobile-first web app (a PWA). It runs in any modern browser on phone, tablet, or desktop. On Android, you can install it through Google Play. On iPhone, add it to your home screen from Safari.
I found a bug. What do I do?
Email aw2104094@gmail.com with what happened, what you expected, and (if you can) which device and browser you're using. A screenshot helps. A human reads every message.
Can I get my data exported?
Yes. Email and ask. We'll send you everything we have on file, in a format that's actually readable.
